traditional craftsmanship meets digital mapping
To me nothing seems to contradict: it is rather more like contrast; making a picture more intense.
In mapped ceramics the contrast creates the surface.

„Mapped Ceramics, digital strategies – analog process“ links traditional craftsmanship of ceramic molding (slip cast) and digital mapping (projecting pictures on digital surfaces|the mapping was created by Aldo Tolino).
The whole process is an intense experiment between the edges of digital and analog boundaries in my work.
I´m interested in the process of a project and how a process defines the result, also these parameters change from one project to another.
