Design is just a small part in a project like this, but it is a part as important as any other.
The all new Genium X4 is redefining mobility with a lot of new sensoric, software and kinetic movement. A hard technological package wrapped by a soft and fluid body creating tension and movment by it´s aesthetic´s.

Final Mockup
Starting with research, working with amputees and knowing their daily needs leeds to conclusions in engineering and design. As we are working with ottobock for about two decades now, we are always close to the user listening with both ears what is between the lines.

Nothing is as clear as a Mockup
Almost nothing is as sensible in proportion and aesthetics as a part attatched to one´s body. Building a mockup was crucial and headed to a whole rework of the inner technical parts, resulting in a slimmer technical package.
Collaborative Work, agile … – call it whatever you wan´t, all in all a motivated and communicative Teamwork.
Collaboration and Covers
In a deep collaborative process we developped stategies for all parts. The Genium X4 is featuring a lot of cover solutions wich are defined by the need of the users.
